Does reincarnation exist? Back to this planet?
Where does one end up after the earthly life? Are you reincarnated?
Who among us has never wondered what’s after death. A question that’s never been answered, what will we know once we’re dead? Who knows, maybe you’ll never know. Hope for Christians is paradise, atheists believe that nothing exists, they certainly hope to find relatives, friends, wives and children. From my experience in documenting many texts over many years, you will not be pleased with the answer. You don’t find each other. I’ve always hoped and wished for that too, of course there’s no proof.
Ancient texts, sometimes even interpreted including the Bible, speak to us of reincarnation. This concept was declared heresy, anathema, for political reasons, because the first Christians believed precisely and solely in reincarnation, one of the fathers of the Origen church spoke extensively about it.
The concept of reincarnation or metemsomatosis if you prefer was actually proscribed by a Roman emperor, an absolute dictator, Constantine. The Roman Empire was slowly disintegrating and many Christian factions were fighting among themselves, we are exactly in 325 A.D. and in the hope of dampening such disagreements Constantine convened the Council of Nicaea. If they had adopted a single creed and resolved their differences, everything would have gone in favour of Christians.
The decisions made laid the foundations for the birth of the Roman church. The process led to a complete rejection of the concept of reincarnation, but many Christians secretly pursued their creed, until it was eradicated entirely at a later Council in 553 AD that of Constantinople, where it was decreed a crime worthy of excommunication and damnation (anathema).
Let us take a step back, 10 years earlier in 543 AD the emperor was Justinian, it was he who convened the synod with the clear aim of putting an end to the teachings of Origen.
Presided over by Eutiquio (completely succumbing to Justinian) who aspired to the patriarchate of Constantinople and who would never oppose the emperor, the only bulwark remained Pope Virgil who was the only one to oppose so that the ancient teachings would not be proscribed.
The emperor’s fearful father fled and took refuge inside a church in the capital. It was an easy game for Justinian to control the Council, which thus drew up 15 anathemas against the three schools of thought judged to be heretical and whose beliefs went against his politics and interests.
They were elaborated as “The three chapters” 2 of the chapters written directly by Justinian are the following:
1 Against anyone who declares or thinks that the human soul pre-existed, that is, that they were first spirits and sacred powers, but that, satiated with the vision of God, they turned to evil, and in this way the divine love died in them and therefore became souls and condemned to punishment within bodies, anathema sia.
2. Against anyone who declares or thinks that the soul of the Lord existed and was united with God the Word before the Incarnation and the Conception of the Virgin, anathema be it.
But what did the Fathers of the Church like Saint Clement of Alexandria, Justin the martyr and Origen himself support?
“I haven’t written down everything I think because there’s an esoteric Christianity that isn’t for all people.” Saint Clement of Alexandria (150-220). “The Soul lives more than once in human bodies, but cannot remember its previous experiences.” Dialogue with Trifo, Justin Martyr (100-165). Considered the Father of the Science of the Church, Origen (185-254) argued: “The pre-existence of the soul is immaterial, therefore it has no beginning or end. Gospels’ predictions cannot have been written to be interpreted literally.
There is a constant process towards perfection. All spirits have been created through no fault of their own and all must eventually return to their original perfection. The education of souls continues in the next worlds. The soul frequently incarnates and experiences death. Bodies are like glasses for the Soul, which gradually, life after life must gradually fill them. First the mud glass, then the wooden glass, then the glass of glass and lastly of silver and gold”.
Who knows what turn the Catholic faith would have taken if reincarnation had not been proscribed by this false Council where orphaned both the approval of the Pope and his presence.
Surely it would have lacked that control over the souls with which the church has built an empire that has lasted for 2000 years, with which it has threatened to send millions of Christians to hell. A power that has gathered an inestimable fortune with obuli, indulgences and the story of Purgatory, in short it has disciplined its flock well, which otherwise would have been aware that the spiritual evolution of its soul would instead have depended on numerous paths of reincarnation not therefore dependent on offerings, priests, confessions and the fear of burning in the flames, but on the actions carried out in each cycle and reincarnation.
The metensomatosis, however, is not necessarily manifested on the same planet, you can reincarnate in other worlds, the process is very complicated because it involves starting again to live experiences enriched by the previous in different places in an evolutionary path that also involves plants and animals. Each cell charged with previous trials, sufferings, joys, carries an animic baggage that conditions spiritual evolution from time to time.
Jesus himself spoke of reincarnation to his disciples who often did not understand him.
That’s what it said:
“Elijah has already come and they did not recognize him; rather, they treated him as they wished. Thus also the Son of Man will have to suffer at their hands”. Then the disciples understood that he spoke of John the Baptist.Matthew 17:10-13, Mark 9:11-13, Luke 9:33 (implying that John the Baptist was the reincarnation of the prophet Elijah).
Jesus speaks to his disciples of John the Baptist: And if you want to accept him, he is that Elijah who must come. Matthew 11:14-15 explicitly declaring that John the Baptist is the reincarnation of the prophet Elijah.
As he passed Jesus saw a man who was blind from birth. And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, him or his parents, why was he born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither he sinned nor his parents, but so that the works of God might be manifested in him.- John 9:1-3
(Meaning that man had lived before he was born blind in the present existence).
Then Jesus said to him: “Put the sword back into its sheath, for all who put their hands to the sword will perish by the sword (Matthew 26:52).
Believing in reincarnation did not stop with the Council of Constantinople, at the beginning of the thirteenth century, the Cathars, a devout and enlightened sect of Christians who believed in the spiritual evolution of the soul, began to spread to Italy and the south of France. The Pope launched a crusade to stop such heresy, half a million people were massacred. The Cathars were completely swept off the map. This purge marked the step for the next brutal Inquisition that would soon begin. Not only was believing in reincarnation a cause of persecution, but also any metaphysical idea that fell outside the dogma of the Church.
Many modern studies by scientists and doctors today have changed their approach in the study of metesempsychiosis, psychiatrists now experience hypnotic regression as evidence of support for reincarnation, there have also been numerous and striking cases of reminiscence of earlier life and cases of child prodigies, endowed with exceptional faculties not found in their parents, for which biologists are unable to explain with atavism or mutation theory, the incredible and early intelligence they manifest.
The “mechanism” of rebirth appears fair and not unbalanced like the one implemented by the Christian creed, in this way it gives the possibility to those who depart from “unfortunate conditions and poverty that could condition the whole life to evolve and in another life and be able to improve them, a free will that allows you to treasure the mistakes made in the past and cultivate a spiritual essence from time to time richer and richer.
But what’s the keystone? The key is love, but the path is also indissolubly linked to karma, a close symbiosis that in turn relates to a concept of universal and collective love that over the millennia has been sacrificed by the materialism and dogmatism of the church.
Evolution embraces all beings of creation from Earthlings to non-Earths, an obligatory stage that involves the entire existence of universes.
